Yiran Zhang
Yiran Zhang is a sound designer and audio system engineer who grew up in Shenzhen China and moved to the United States in 2015 to further explore various possibilities of sound design . After 3-year of postgraduate education at Carnegie Mellon University, Yiran moved to New York and have applied my sound creation ability in the fields of theater production, installation arts, games, and TV/film post-production. She has designed sounds for numerous prestigious productions staged at New York/A.R.T. Theatres in New York, Philip Chosky Theater, Purnell Center for the Art in Pittsburgh, PA, among many others. Yiran has successfully obtained Extraordinary Ability green card (EB-1) in 2020. She is currently an audio system engineer at Shenzhen Concert Hall and started her podcast “Bye THE Way” in early 2021.
